AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖(Asia Educational Environment Design Awards)第二轮奖项申报工作正式开启,第二轮申报从2023年2月10日开始,至2023年4月10日结束。现诚邀各相关单位踊跃报名参赛,共赴此次教育环境设计盛事。
The Second round of application for AEEDA has officially started.The Second round of application will start on Feb 10,2023 and end on April 10,2023.We sincerely invite all relevant units to sign up for the competition and participate in this grand event of educational environment design.
第一轮申报情况介绍
Introduction to the first round of declaration
自2022年12月10日,“AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖”启动申报工作以来,受到行业内的广泛关注。第一轮申报期间,新冠疫情突发蔓延,又逢年终总结,导致许多申报单位未能及时提交申报资料,不得不延期申报。即使在这种不利条件下,第一轮意向申报项目已达150余个。截止2023年1月20日第一轮申报结束,秘书处共收到56家申报单位提交的97个参赛项目。经初步审核后,共有54个项目入围,将与第二轮入围项目一起角逐金、银奖。
Since December 10,2022,the AEEDA Award has received widespread attention in the industry since the start of the application process.During the first round of declaration,the sudden spread of the epidemic caused many declaration units to fail to submit declaration materials in time and had to postpone the declaration.Even under such unfavorable conditions,there are more than 150 declaration projects in the first round of declaration intention.By the end of the first round of applications on January 20,2023,the Secretariat has received a total of 97 entries submitted by 56 applicants.After preliminary review,a total of 54 projects were shortlisted,and will compete for gold and silver awards together with the second round of shortlisted projects.
同时,在部分评审委员建议下,为了使奖杯、证书更具有设计感,更能体现“教育与建筑”之间的联系,秘书处聘请了专业设计团队,对奖杯和证书进行了重新设计。现将新的奖杯和证书样式公布如下:
At the same time,at the suggestion of many jurors,in order to make the trophies and certificates more fashionable and better reflect the connection between"education and architecture",the secretariat hired a professional design team to redesign the trophies and certificates.The new trophy and certificate styles are now announced as follows:

第二轮申报提醒事项
Reminders for the second round of declaration
▶增设“学前教育设计奖”。在第一轮申报过程中,部分申报单位认为,幼儿园、托育设施无论从建筑体量、尺度,特别是服务内容与群体上,与中小学、高等教育设施都有着很大的差别,不适合放在一起评选。为此,组委会决定在第二轮申报中,增设“学前教育设计奖”。同时,在“校园总体规划设计奖”、“校园建筑设计奖”、“学习空间设计奖”等奖项中,不再设置学前教育设施专项。
The"Pre-school Education Design Award"was added.During the first round of application process,some application units think that kindergartens and nursery facilities were very different from primary and secondary schools and higher education facilities in terms of building volume and scale,especially in terms of service content and groups,and were not suitable put together for reviewing.For this reason,the organizing committee decided to add the"Pre-school Education Design Award"in the second round of applications.At the same time,in the"Campus Master Planning and Design Award","Campus Architectural Design Award","Learning Space Design Award"and other awards,there will no longer be special items for preschool education facilities.
▶申报作品展示。为了向专业群体和公众展示申报作品质量,传播和交流教育建筑设计理念,组委会将分别于2023年3月31日-4月1日在深圳举办“第七届现代中小学新建及改扩建规划与设计国际研讨会暨申报作品展”,于2023年6月16日-17日举办“第二届现代高等及职业教育校园建筑规划与设施设计国际论坛暨颁奖仪式、入围项目作品展”。届时,组委会将邀请各地教育主管部门、大学基建负责人、校长、园长、代建单位、设计师参与以上活动。两次作品展均属申报服务内容,不收取任何费用。具体要求请与工作人员联系。
The Show of Submitted Works.In order to demonstrate the quality of the submitted works to professional groups and the public,and to disseminate and exchange educational architectural design concepts,the organizing committee will hold the"The 7th International Symposium on Planning and Design of Contemporary K-12 Education Buildings and Works Show"in Shenzhen from March 31 to April 1,2023.the"The 2st International Forum on Campus Planning and Facilities Design of Higher&Vocational Education and Award Ceremony,Shortlisted Project Exhibition"will be held from June 16 to 17,2023.At that time,the organizing committee will invite local education authorities,persons in charge of university infrastructure,principals,principals,construction agents,and designers to participate in the above activities.The two works exhibitions are part of the declaration service,and no fees are charged.Please contact the staff for specific requirements.

The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards(AEEDA)aims to recognize projects,groups,companies and individuals that have influence and drive on the improvement of educational environments,facilities,and learning space innovations in the region.Through rigorous procedures and high-quality selection criteria,we will discover innovative and exemplary projects,outstanding designers and enterprises,as well as high-quality equipment and technologies,and promote the continuous updating of educational facilities to adapt to future changes in education and learning methods.
共设置学前教育设计奖、校园总体规划奖、校园建筑设计奖、学习空间设计奖、校园景观环境设计奖、装备与科技奖、人物与企业奖七大申报类别,每个大类又根据使用者年龄、建筑用途、空间功能设置若个子项奖.每个类别设置金奖、银奖、优秀奖三个奖项(杰出设计企业和设计师除外),奖项数量根据申报总数按比例设置。
The AEEDA has set up seven major application categories,and each category has several sub-items according to the user's age,building type and space function.There are three awards for each category:Gold Award,Silver Award,and Excellence Award(except for outstanding design companies and designers),and the number of awards is set in proportion to the total number of applications.
评选分为申报、初评和终评三个阶段。初评阶段决定参选是否入围,终评阶段由国内外知名专家组成的评审团,对入围作品进行评选,最终角逐出各个类别的金奖、银奖。
The AEEDA selection is divided into three stages:application,initial evaluation and final judging.In the initial evaluation stage,it is determined whether the applications are shortlisted.In the final judging stage,the jury will select gold winners and silver winners from the shortlist.

申报范围包括:托育设施、幼儿园与早教中心、小学、中学、高中、特殊专门学校、职业学校、学院与大学、社区学院。
以上设施包括新建或加建、改造或适应性再利用及修复项目,也含进行中的项目。所有项目必须在2023年4月之前的6年内完成,即将动工的项目除外。
Eligible Education Facilities include Nursery facilities,Kindergarten&Childcare center,Primary School,Middle School,High School,Specialized School,Vocational School,University&College,Community College.
The above facilities include new construction,addition project,renovation,adaptive reuse,restoration project,and project-in-progress.All projects must have been completed within 6 years prior to April 2023,except projects in-progress which must be shovel ready。
申报主体包括:建筑设计公司、室内设计公司、景观设计公司、教育机构、教育投资人、发展商、规划师、设施设计顾问公司、教育空间产品与装备企业、承建商。
Who may Submit:Architectural firms,Interior Design firms,Landscape design firms,Education Institutions,Developers,facility design consultants,Planners,Educational Products and Equipment firms,Construction firms.
专业性与稀缺性:AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖是目前亚洲地区唯一针对教育环境设计设立的区域大奖,大奖奖杯、证书均由专业设计师精心设计,具有唯一性和美学价值。该奖项的评审团成员均是来自中国大陆、港澳台地区、日本、新加坡、印度、澳大利亚、美国等地的知名权威专家。评审团成员专业涵盖建筑设计、室内设计、教育学、心理学、人体工程学等多个学科,能够从多个角度对参赛作品进行客观、公正的评价。
Professionalism and Uniqueness:The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards is currently the only regional award for educational environment design in Asia.The metal trophy,certificate and logo of the award are carefully designed by professional designers,which have uniqueness and aesthetic value.The jury members of the award are all well-known and authoritative experts from China mainland,Hong Kong and Taiwan regions of China,Japan,Singapore,India,Australia,and the United States.The jury members are specialized in architectural design,interior design,pedagogy,psychology,ergonomics and other disciplines,and can objectively and fairly evaluate the entries from multiple perspectives.

室内空间:室内设计元素(颜色、纹理、艺术、灯光、声学)如何丰富建筑环境?并与使用者年龄、空间功能和建筑本身相适应。室内空间所具有得适应性和灵活性,如何支持学习活动和教学方式。
Interiors:how interior design elements(color,texture,art,lighting,acoustics)enrich the built environment;are applicable to the user’s age and or space function and building.The adaptability and flexibility of the interior space,how to support learning activities and teaching methods.
社区需求:设计如何展示灵活性和适应性以满足社区的需求。设计是否适合当地人口、场地位置以及解决与安全、公平、多样性和包容性相关的问题?
Community needs:how does the design demonstrate flexibility and adaptation to meet the community’s needs.Is the design appropriate for the local population demographic,the site location,and addressing issues related to safety,equity,diversity,and inclusivity?
校园景观环境设计奖主要从整体规划、场地设计、功能性、场所精神、生态性、可持续发展、可玩性等层面进行评分。
The campus landscape environment design award is mainly scored from the aspects of overall planning,site design,functionality,site spirit,ecology,sustainable development,and playability.
装备与科技奖的评价标准包括:助力学习效率提升,增进教育空间灵活性与适应性;改善教育环境质量,提升设施安全与管理效率及防灾能力。
The evaluation criteria for the Equipment and Technology Award include:helping to improve learning efficiency,enhancing the flexibility and adaptability of educational spaces;improving the quality of the educational environment,improving facility safety and management efficiency,and disaster prevention capabilities.
AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖所有获奖作品将被收录到《筑以为学》作品集,该书将在2023年下半年出版发行,并提供在线阅读电子文本。
All award-winning works of the Asian Educational Environmental Design Awards will be included in the collection of"Building Thoughts and Learning",which will be published in the second half of 2023 and provide online reading electronic text.

社区需求:设计如何展示灵活性和适应性以满足社区的需求。设计是否适合当地人口、场地位置以及解决与安全、公平、多样性和包容性相关的问题?
Community needs:how does the design demonstrate flexibility and adaptation to meet the community’s needs.Is the design appropriate for the local population demographic,the site location,and addressing issues related to safety,equity,diversity,and inclusivity?
校园景观环境设计奖主要从整体规划、场地设计、功能性、场所精神、生态性、可持续发展、可玩性等层面进行评分。
The campus landscape environment design award is mainly scored from the aspects of overall planning,site design,functionality,site spirit,ecology,sustainable development,and playability.
装备与科技奖的评价标准包括:助力学习效率提升,增进教育空间灵活性与适应性;改善教育环境质量,提升设施安全与管理效率及防灾能力。
The evaluation criteria for the Equipment and Technology Award include:helping to improve learning efficiency,enhancing the flexibility and adaptability of educational spaces;improving the quality of the educational environment,improving facility safety and management efficiency,and disaster prevention capabilities.
AEEDA亚洲教育环境设计奖所有获奖作品将被收录到《筑以为学》作品集,该书将在2023年下半年出版发行,并提供在线阅读电子文本。
All award-winning works of the Asian Educational Environmental Design Awards will be included in the collection of"Building Thoughts and Learning",which will be published in the second half of 2023 and provide online reading electronic text.

金银奖终评时间:2023年04月20日-5月20日
